We offer quantitative cannabinoid testing for flower, concentrates, and products using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) analysis. We operate multiple, identical HPLC machines with auto-samplers/injectors for peak accuracy and reproducibility.
We identify and quantify Δ9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9THC), Cannabidiol (CBD), Cannabinol (CBN), Cannabigerol (CBG), Cannabichromene (CBC) and the acid forms of THC/CBD, Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA) and Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) with a standard lower detection limit of 0.1% (detection limit can be adjusted for most samples based on dilution, please ask us if you need a lower limit!).
All of our tests come with an OAR 333-008-1190 compliant Chain of Custody documentation and a straight-forward "shelf compatible" report via email (postal mail or pickup optional).
We can detect and positively identify Chlorinated Hydrocarbons, Organophosphates, Carbamates and Pyrethroids plus a number of other pesticides/herbicides commonly used in indoor grow environments with a lower detection limit of 0.1 ppm.
We utilize GS/MS technology for pesticide detection and identification, which is generally considered the "gold" standard for this type of testing.
We offer OAR 333-008-1190 compliant detection of mold / mildew and yeast either stand-alone or as part of our comprehensive testing package. We utilize specialized rapid color-indicator count plates to reliably identify any pathogens on the tested product in just 48 hours from cultivation.
We also utilize visual, high magnification inspection to assure no visible contaminants. Color micrograph is also part of each report.
We are an analytical testing laboratory — not lawyers. None of this should be considering legal or compliance advice. Please always check with a legal professional. Any Producer should always check with the PRF of the dispensary where they plan to take their product, as they have the final decision in regards to their testing and compliance requirements.
If you are a dispensary PRF or you are testing for non-compliance reasons (consumer), you can perform the sampling of the product yourself. A random sample should be taken from the entire batch in a single container and from multiple spots inside the container. It is highly recommended to wear gloves to minimize contamination. Once collected, the sample should be sealed in an air-tight container (the common retail prescription-style bottles work great) and delivered to our lab in a verifiable manner (either by the PRF or trusted courier).
If you are a producer, you need to bring your entire batch in as few container/bags as possible. We take at least 1 gram from each bag, so in case of multiple bags the sample size may be bigger than the 3 grams (flower) / 1.5 grams (concentrate) required for the compliance test. We then seal the product in tamper-evident bags and label them in a traceable manner. We can split the product in smaller bags. The product is then returned to you, together with a Chain of Custody copy.
Payment is expected at time of sample drop-off - we accept cash, credit cards and company checks. We generally email the results after 4 - 5 business days and in case of producers, the report will indicate the unique tamper-evident bag numbers. Producers can also return with the product so that we can apply secure 'Certified Product' report labels to the bags (please call/email us if you want those labels so we can have them ready!).
